I'm new to this online dating thing, but I am already stunned by the number of times I am contacted by someone 'showing interest'.....only to have him disappear off the planet, when I reply in kind.

What did I do ??? Would they be happier if I just didn't bother replying ?????

Hi & Welcome to the forums Ive been enjoyin yr imput ..
If they dont respond then sugar you were only an option NOT a priority , you will get a responce in about a week or 2 with some lame excuse but in actual fact he has been weighing up your opposition.trying various women for responses .
Perrsonaly if a man ignores me well he doesnt get a second chance ...Take note fellas wink
This ofcourse is only my opinion based on personal experiance.....

well since I never post in the forums I guess its time to start now :)

For some reason I keep getting useless contacts (mostly off site, I get few if anything from here :P ) most of the time I get interest off girls (and I'm saying girls for a reason here) that have just had a fight with their boyfriend, contact me and by the time we start talking, theyve decided to go back to them.

then the cycle usually repeats over and over again (alot of times from the same girl) roll eyes

sometimes I'm not sure why i bother (although I have to admit I have done this in the past before with my ex )
