I concur.. even though its up to the male to initiate first contact , this is the age of equality , so really , there is nothing wrong with a woman making the first move.And if she gets rejected , so what.. plenty more fish in the sea.

On a date note , was chating to this "nice girl" quite a while ago , we ended up meeting for a dinner , she lived out of town so i offered my house as a roof for the night.. I had absolutely no intentions of doing anything ( im actually being serious ) , but lo-n-behold , my bones got jumped , then it got weird.. few days later , i was "apparently" supposed to be at her beck and call , she drove unregistered to stanthorpe , then called me up to say she didnt have money for fuel to get home , and wanted me to drive there and pick her and her car up and take her back to her place.. mind you , this was a work night , at 10pm , a possible 5 hour round trip!!.. needless to say ( im all for helping people within reason ) i started to ignore her , and got the whole circle of SMS messages.. "what did i do?" , "fine , be like that" , i hate you you used me you bastard" , im sorry i didnt mean it" , this went on about 2 weeks after i said this wasnt something that was going to work mind you...

Now , havent been on a date for well over 12 months , so no new stories for you!

T hats what I don't know how to deal with situation where you agree to meet maybe it cant be for a week and they are on you like a magnet to a sheet of iron, you meet and they are an okay person but, you don't feel they are exactly the right person the idea of having sex with them is not something you would consider, but they think you automatically are having a relationship, how do you say, no without being horrible. Lets be friends they would take that as rejection or insulted, even if you did mean yes "I could be friends with you" but" No not a relationship" How do you say it without being hurtful.

Hey all. I am new to this site, but I really wanted to blurt. Hope you don't mind.
If there is one thing I absolutely love to talk about is 'first dates'. I have heard some doozies and find them so very amusing!!
My latest one tho I thought I would like some feedback on....
I had been chatting with a guy for a couple of months, online and via phone. For one reason or another we couldn't get together to meet. The other night I was getting ready to go out and just as I was turning my pc off he came online to say 'Hi'. I explained I going out with my gf's and if he wanted he could meet us out. Which he decided he would do.
After the initial meet n greet, he settles in and we're all having a good night drinking, dancing etc. I went to the bar to get a drink and when I got back I noticed he's hooked up with one of my gf's. To cut a long story short, they left together.
DUH!! WFT!! Did I miss something?!?!?!
So I discussed this briefly with a male friend of mine, to which he explains "it's all fair in love n war". So I am wondering to which one I'm in?...

I had a date once where she was so nervous (dont know why) that she drank all day to try a calm her nerves, anyway around 7:00 that night we meet at the prearranged place and just after we said hi to each other she threw up on me then ran off...
