During the making of Fawlty Towers, NONE of the production team realised that John Cleese (Basil) and Connie Booth (Polly) were going through a very messy divorce!!!!
Puts a whole new spin on him calling her a cloth-eared bint etc!!!!

I dunno whether this news reached Oz or not, but did you hear about Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross leaving messages on Andrew Sach's (Manuel) answerphone about Russell Brand sleeping with his granddaughter Georgina Baillie ???
