New year's eve' is usually a fairly quiet do for me though usually end up a someone's place for a barbie.
By long-standing tradition our family has a get together on New Year's Day with anything from 50 to 150 people showing up (yes BIG family) goodness knows how many would be there if everyone showed, quite a few live interstate so don't make it every year.

New Year's Eve' 1986 I made a resolution never to make another New Year's resolution, thus far I have stuck to it!

I will be working a LOT over Christmas and New Years
I am sure I will see a lot of drunk wankers coming in
making fools of themselves into the store . I'll be smiling
and thinking "you idiot, next" .

Resolutions:

- Find a nice girl to have fun with without stings
or a nice girl to settle down with .

- Get my moto bike fixed (Accerator cable needs work)
and upgrade my license .

- Find a van to buy that I am happy with (Gas/Electric/diesel).

- Upgrade my gaming Computer and file server in Aug 2009.

- Once I get my bike on the road and the license upgrade so I can
legally ride the bike , so on a gold coast trip and NSW family visit
trip .

- Save money

- Get more fit & lose 20kg before Aug 2009
(Lost 6kg in the last 2 months)

- Build a Chicken Coop in the process learn how to use more power tools,
get some chickens to lay eggs .

I havent finished sinning in 2008 yet

Believe it or not, I'll be bloody working again.

At the moment I think I will be on a camping trip with a good friend and his kids....

Not sure about the resolutions.... but with all of the chaperones that will be there - perhaps I won't need to make any...?
