Preferred Ages in Profiles

Hi All

,

I've noticed recently that most women in their profile put the preferred age group of their partner down as being up to 10 years older or a few years younger (depending upon their age) whereas most men put it only a few years older and down to wanting an 18yo/19yo even though a lot of these men are 30+ and close to 40 and older - not all of them do it but a lot do.. My question is why?? If I were a 40yo male I don't think I could stand being in a relationship with someone with such minimal life experience.. And the other question is do these guys seriously think that an 18yo would be interested in someone old enough to be their father or even grandfather?

JMO.. What are your thoughts?? Does it turn you off (probably not the right words here) that they think they could get an 18yo or are wanting an 18yo? I've got the fire extinguisher at hand as I'm ready for a flaming..

I marvel at that all the time. I have noticed it on alot of sites I have visited over the years. I am 29 and the thought of me even being with a 21 year old turns me off and freaks me out. I personally for me like the ages of 28 - 33 ish?

If a guy my age or older can get an 18yr old woman, that only means one thing to me... it means that he's got a lot more money than me.

There are also a lot of women looking for men younger than themselves... so it's something that's not really gender specific.

Personally I think it has a lot to do with a person feeling that old age is approaching... and what better way is there for them to feel young again than to have a young 'accessory' hanging off them?

Uh-huh - me too Lou!! I personally prefer my guy to be around the same age or a little older.. I've put down 30 - 36 in my profile as I'm looking for someone with some life experience and maturity that knows what they want in life and is already on that journey to achieve it or laying the foundation to get there..

Well.. I work with a guy who is 36 and he has he hots for a girl I also work with who is 19.. she is flattered and sort of interested (bu she has a boyfriend) he has never really grown up!!.. admits older women are better in bed and more interesting to talk to but also admits his ego feeds off of having young women find him attractive.. btw this 19yr he lusts after is a spoilt little brat who is ultra high maintenance but his ego overrides his sensibilites

the age thing is a bloke fantasy that cute young things such as urselves will want to bed a crusty old bugger like meselfand go back to the good old days of their youth...what these guys don't realise is that all eus young things want to hurl at the thought of this.. but hey...this is fantasy land..go figure

if that accessory can hold an intelligent conversation, knows how to please a women for more than an hour, and looks great.. then bring it on

ok.. ill be serious.. although its flattering to have a much younger guy (or girl if your a guy) attracted and into you.. (and yes, in my no thinking quite straight moments I have even gone with it

) but at the end of the day.. I want someone who is on my wavelength and on the same energy level as me

most 20 somethings are not!!

my age limit is about 45yrs with men but Im soooo shallow if i get an email without a pic i sent back not interseted straight off..even if the are rich... if i cant see it i dont believe it
