crazzzymolly: well obviously there are people that do think we are, otherwise they would have had a say, I would just like to know what is it that you mustn't say or do. I did notice a person once used the word nigger in a link, and I thought mm if they were in America they would have had their head blown off by now, it is an offensive word because of its past connotations. But I have been called names like snowball, white dough, white trash,and so on and am expected to accept it with grace which I do. In fact I have been in situations in my job work place where their has been discrimination because I am Caucasian (white) and legally have had to turn the other cheek and pretend I am not offended and it has been directed as a deliberate insult. I have friends of many different cultures and we can joke with each other without screaming discrimination, because we value our friendship and have so much to teach each other.
hey molly, i don't think you're racist, i think you're a hoot. However i think you may have let someone elses style of humour get the better of you. I don't know if it is the weather, full moon, lack of sex or everyone is tired coz the end of the year is approaching but i think everyone on here lately has been getting a bit touchy. I think we all need to take a step back and see the good friends we have made in here before we start jumping down each other's throats. As humans we all have our bad days and can get a bit snippy and we need to be tolerant of that, as we are all guilty. We also need to appreciate the fact that this is written text, and without correct grammar and punctuation things can come off the opposite of what we intended. And if she meant it, oh well, she is entitled to her opinion as much as you are, and leave it at that.
