I think after reading this we all agree threadbare , being alive ,being happy ,sharing ourselves unconditionally is really the meaning of life .
Ralf It does suck what your father did to all of you it was selfish you have everyright to be pissed .
I also know he would be proud of the woman youve become .

I am glad so many are finding this thread benificial
For me I feel closer to each of you that has posted ,
friendships deepen when pivotal moments are shared
So thankyou all your your contributions

Here's a vent I just dragged a soggy water logged Ibis out my pool and it whacked me in the mouth with its wing filling it with grit and water, do they have nasty diseases. glug help mouthwash.

sxc666: when I worked in Martin Place in Sydney. Every morning I would buy this old man a hot chocolate and sit it beside him, he was usually asleep or passed out. I did it because it made me feel good........one morning I went to sit it beside him and he suddenly grabbed my arm, jesus it scared the shit out of me. I kinds bypassed him after that.


Maybe he was trying to tell you he needed a doughnut with it,or the poor guy thought you were going to steal the coffee when the kind person left it. rolling on the floor laughing
