too much food, more grog than i'd normally drink, quality time with the family, what more could i ask?

My family were great, we all got together at M & D's, cold meats and salads. Way to much food. I really was not up for it, cause i'd split up with my long time partner (13yrs)only two weeks ago, we are still sharing a house. This last 20 months she has been ill (mental issues), I've cared for her and supported her. It did change the relationship.Last Friday she decide to tell me she has already started seeing someone else and has been sleeping with him. Anyway enough of the details, it sucks to be me this Xmas.

amazing isnt it, you ended up caring for her, while she started sleeping with someone else, but she thought, she would play both sides of the fence, until the other one decided to get seroius about it...and your left with a brken heart...

they are very good at playing games(females) that is. she might have a mental issues, but she knows how to press ya buttons now, move on!!!mate, plenty more fish in the pond..

Thx for all your supportive posts. I've got a thick skin these days and a thick head by the looks of it. After such a long relationship most items of any value are in both names. So Next step is to sell up, split the proceeds and move on. Easier said then done.

I no it's off topic but anyone got any tips on spliting up without lawyers?

If your gonna go 50/50 it can be done, but get everything notorized if there are kids involved got thru a lawyer but write everything down assets super contributions before you get there that way it costs less . besy advise is stick with the lawyers otherwise they can come back for second helpings ...
dont just say you vcasn keep this or that it will bite ya later
Remember you gonna have to go thru this all to get to the other side ...Its not easy but ya gotta do it !

its simple, have already been through it... you find out what you want, you find out what she wants, house, you either buy her out, or she buys you out...kids, are 50-50 these days, nothing she can do about it... its a new family law....


whatever you do.... dont even think about giving anymore then what she desrves, cause at the end of the day, she will screw you for everything if you hive her ha;lf a chance, and dont believe, the line, " Ill might come back", that bull...

you take to the court... one application does it... court loooks at it... if its fair, it gets pass, if its not, court will decided, you dont need a lawyer for this...just make sure at the end of it.... its 50-50 straight down the line...

xams day was good for me too.. spent the morning with my boys and had a chrissy breakfast ..then got the plane to brissy to spend the afternoon/evening with family and friends..so pretty darn kewl

Had family lunch at my sister's house, swimming, then off to the airport to pick up Blonde and then to her sister's house then back to my sister's house without her. Lots of laughs and good times

I had a ball! I went camping last night.. hmmmm new hobby for me as I loved it!!
