i used to paint, i was a very good artist. I excelled at school in art and was even asked personally to paint the School Principal a picture to hang on his office wall that i was paid for (a whole $10, lol). I stopped because my stupid bitch teacher in gr 11 & 12 hated absolutely everything i did and I ended up giving up trying to please her. Haven't drawn or painted a picture since. crying

awwww...that's sad ralf...you should start painting again, just because one stupid idiotic bitch didn't like anything you did, doesn't mean there's not a whole lot of other people out there who would love it !

My mum used to paint, well more sketching, but couldn't do it anymore because she got too sick....not to be harsh, because that's certainly not what I'm typing, but you shouldn't just throw away a talent, based on one stupid dumbarse teacher....you never know when you might not have the chance to do it again....

I know, it is stupid but I was young and impressionable and after 2 yrs of her insulting critique, it sucked the sheer joy out of it for me. I could have even understood if she gave constructive critisism but it was like she hated me, all she did was attack anything i did. I never had such a poor rapore with a teacher. blues

I used to paint wraships when I was younger. They made us do it even in the rain, they wanted the ships to look nice. In later years I have played around with the other sort, mainly oils, landscapes, some surreal and some abstract.

Nah, seriously. I want to express myself creatively, just don't have the confidence to do it. I was an excellent student in school. The only subject I ever failed was an art elective in year 9. lol
