Ralf74: I know, it is stupid but I was young and impressionable and after 2 yrs of her insulting critique, it sucked the sheer joy out of it for me. I could have even understood if she gave constructive critisism but it was like she hated me, all she did was attack anything i did. I never had such a poor rapore with a teacher.
Hey Ralfie; I agree with the others..... don't let that bitch win by holding back your talent. As far as creativity is concerned, it will come to you with practice, experience and time. If it's something you like doin, then..... do it gurl!
I had a passion for sculpture and it started when I was about 13 years of age. I started to do portrait drawings at the age of 17, but due to life's commitments, I didn't do anything else until, at the age of 47, I decided to do my Fine Arts Diploma, which I completed last year. That included: Drawing, Painting, Photography, Printmmaking, Digital Imaging, Art History, Sculpture, Ceramics, etc. and I majored in Sculpture and Ceramics, and currently I am doing my Advanced Ceramics Diploma. I had so much talent hidden in me all this time, and when it all surfaced, I even surprised myself.
I just wished I had done all this much earlier in life, so don't leave it as late as I did Ralfie. Don't allow a stupid idiot of a teacher hold you back.
DO IT FOR YOUR SELF, and you'll never look back......
