OK my experience is that most people have no idea where Malta is....infact most people dont even seem to know it exists...of course hardly surprising since the place is smaller than an average city in european states and one can drive around it in a couple of hours...anyway thought i would check it this was true .. so guys please tick of one of the choices and then we can assess the results dancing dancing

yeah there do seem to be alot on cs ..i have a theory about that ..we are the third most pop surface in the world..therefore the place is very claustrophobic and people everywhere..so maltese hide in the virtual world to get away from the mob laugh dancing

I walked to school further than the Island is big. blushing well almost
I am going to choose none of the above because I knew it was in the Med sea but to the exact longitude and latitude is another thing.
I have a question for you. Do you have a language that is called Maltese? What does it sound like? It is a commonwealth country too isn't it? Oops that's three questions.

Well, I never knew where exactly Malta was until I joined CS! ... and then I went there to a get-together .... and sort of found it somewhere near Italy(?) The whole place had a sort of "gemischt" feeling of Italy, Sicily, Arabica, Morroco, India, all the exotic sort of countries?

And then, lo and behold, the other day I met a most friendly couple having a meal in one of the local restaurants ...... and they were MALTESE! Usually no-one real talks to other people sitting at other tables here, but this couple were friendly and smiling, and we made friends ..... they LIVE in my village! cheers

Well, you've heard of the Bermuda triangle?...yes, well because of global warming, it moved to the Med....at the geographical centre of it, is a little island called Malta. For some strange reason, lots of birds land with a plop on this place. People here use bird umbrellas...angel

My father loves Malta and has been there many times. I must admit my interest in it was ignited when I joined here and I began to read about it.

Mine came when I saw the very picturesque travel documentaries on television during the NATO Summit in Malta that officially ended the Cold War in December 1989.

I think it is one of the loveliest island in the Medittarean sea, along with Rhodos and Cyprus -- places I promise myself to visit one day ..

I'm a beer guy why else would I have ended up in Belgium but since I am also a driving instructor I have to follow the rules and laws of the legal limit. Then again even before I was a driving instructor I NEVER went past the legal limit when I was driving. When I was not I always ended up regretting not having been the driver the next day.cool doh barf (had to use that one again)
