I moved to a man I loved, and stayed here because I am not really at home at my home country anymore and have nobody left there.

I live here in Spain, as thats what my partner at the time wanted (we were both from the UK).... to be honest I didnt want to live in another country, but he did, so we moved here.......but a couple of years later, we split up, he hated it here and went back to the UK, but I loved it here and stayed...I cant imagine ever living in the UK again...

Good question.I too came here for love,til it dumped me on my arse for some casual sex with a local chancer(rolling on the floor laughing ).

I,m here for my young son,the lifestyle,etc.

Here,s a funny thing,I am rootless.See I no longer belong back where I came from,and I don,t really belong here neither.So I,m a floater.Don,t really know who or what I am any more. Ah well,on we go.dancing

Intended to emigrate to Australia with my daughter and her family only she got pregnant so wasn't going anywhere for a while. I'd sold up so decided to move to Cyprus. I came here on my own and didn't know anyone. Four years later I'm still here, daughter still in UK, I love living here though don't know what the future will bring, I don't make too many plans!

Came here over 30 years ago as a young soldier and stayed. Spent most if not all of my youth here so the UK is foreign to me now.

I moved to Larnaca 5 months ago, also on my own, but with my cat.
Didn't know anyone but I already love to be here. cheering

My travels are due to work mainly, but when I arrived in Spain to take up another teaching job, I fell in love with the country and decided to stay.
