Arnt modems sort of a thing of the past? I mean wouldnt it be possible to get a second hand one, somewhere on e-bay? If I had one I'd send it.

Actually,it's not my modem,it's my IP who can't give me a stable connection in this area of France
It's been going on for months,so I've decided to fire them off & get myself another IP, I'm going to try Orange whom I know have a very stable connection in this village.
So if I dissappear for a while next week you'll know why!!

Actually, I only spend about 20 mins a week in this bar!(IF THAT!!) I also get involved in some of the other threads, IF, I have something to say!!

I often go into a thread that has an interesting 'theme', only to find it's lost it's way. So I don't post a reply

Be assured Jan, I am on the look for interesting things to get involved in BUT I will not get involved just for the sake of it
