Some tourists don't behave properly and some neighborhoods are bothered by them. Today have been organised a march to protest.

The troubles created by tourists who drink all day worries many population of here and everybody say the same, locals and foreigners who live here: they wouldn't do it in their own countries.

The main problem, besides vandalism, is their own security in many cases. A few have fallen from balconies trying to do some stupid demonstration.

It's not my business if some of them behave like this at their homeland.

It's just that everybody here thinks it's an excess, and some are publicly protesting.

Tell this to the neighbours of those noisy tourists. Surely they will sleep better.

Guz, you are in Barcelona not me. Why don't you tell them my suggestion? I seen the report yesterday and laughed (better than reading about the middle east)..

I'm thinking of holding a protest about the behaviour of the Spanish towards me as a British tourist.

I'm coming back from a holiday near Barcelona. Haven't drunk a single drop of alcohol. Haven't been a nuisance to anyone. And yet some git decided to hoof my wing mirror right off my car when it was parked in a public car park overnight.

Same problem in Malta... The amount of tourists over here especially this month is ridiculous. You get all sorts but yes we do have the drunks and the trouble makers.

One of the things about Ireland /UK is it's the natives who run amok.

They were taken to court and paid a fine. They were caught on camera so they had to admit the charges.

I hope they learnt their lesson. You lot have enough problems with 'boat people' without drunken Spanish people running amok.

You don't know if the person who did it was a local or a tourist. But probably was a drunken one.

During these short travels (for days or a week) some tourists want to spend their time drinking from the first moment. No matter which country come from.

And exists a high level of tolerance because tourism means money.

Literally to death. Some do it all the year. They drink a lot because alcohol is cheaper here, and after spending all the money, they say that the price was excessive.

Hope the authorities clearly show the visitors that they're not in their territory.

I don't want anyone jailed by these reasons, only a few order.

Do you want the tourists struck by a car when crossing the streets without a minimal caution? Or falling from a balcony while doing acrobatics? These things happen and everyday the newspapers talk about it.

The neighbourhood which protests more these days don't claim for retaliations over tourists. They protested against the City Hall's attitude and the absence of contention in certain zones.

About the money of tourism, I haven't seen much because hotels or bars are neither my business or job.
