Half the people, here, are either fake, boring, rude and annoying- especially the 'women' in my country!
Today sadly its the only way to talk to people even in a bar. The art of conversion has almost gone and in dating you get bored you get your phone out.

it is very hard to gauge someone's personality via text because how they write something is not necessarily how you read it, so miscommunication occurs.
It's useful on sites like this to sift out the time wasters on initial contact, but you can't beat a good old fashioned face to face conversation to get to know someone.
