What brings you most peace and happiness in your life?

For me, I need a good balance of time on my own to be creative, mediatate, exercise and be good to myself, and time with friends, plus I need to be working to feel really good.

Discovering my spiritual side has brought an inner peace to my life, and has taught me to be more positive, changing me from being a very negative person.

PEACE is something that all of us have and only realise it when we loose it...i think whenever we are feeling very much down..its better to look upto someone who is in an even worse situation and thank god that we are gifted so much...its always better to see what we have rather than thinking wat we dont..

I agree exercising ( not necessarily building muscles) makes u a lot more confident that way you can atleast feel good that god has given a trouble free body...

And coming back to your negative thinking attitude...I think that too helps in making a person much more matured...i think if you feel negative about yourself..it tells you wats wrong with you..I have found a lot of instances where i hate myself ,,but atlast it makes you more humble and keeps your foot on ground..which i think is very important..as when good times come many of us find it difficult to stay on planet earth..we fly too high ...SO JUST THINK WHAT EVER YOU DO IS GOING TO MAKE YOU MORE HUMBLE,POLITE AND LOVABLE...dunno

Hi :-)

In addition to what you said i add something that can be difficult on occasions, yet so relieving once done i.e. forgiveness, love unconditionally and a sincere will to understand one another.

Picture yourself near a stream.

Birds are singing in the crisp, cool mountain air.

Nothing can bother you here. No one knows this secret place.

You are in total seclusion from that place called the world.

The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.

The water is clear.

You can easily make out the face of the person whose head you're holding under the water.

There now, feeling better?

i think peace and happiness is a matter of choice and decision, one has to decide to be happy and maintain a peaceful disposition regardless of what maybe contrary to the desired situation.

I also think it is my responsibility to maintain my peace and happiness i.e. my happiness and peace is too priceless for it to depend on people such as family, general environment, ssouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, work etc...When this is achieved no longer would there be a need for the latter to fulfill one's happiness but peace and happiness will be resonating within.
