Is anyone else having any problems signing into their MSN Hotmail?

I keep getting "There is a problem with this websites certificate" ....................

Mines working fine today, but do have trouble from time to time, while they upgrade their systems

Mine seem to be working ok

Was able to Sign into Hotmail using Firefox.
Can't install MSN Messenger,something about installing a Security Update first.
Those Updates have been known to break your Operating System,so Thanks but No Thanks

1. Clear your IE cache and cookies.

Start Internet Explorer
Click Tools then Internet Options...
Use the Delete Cookies and Delete Files... buttons to clear your IE cache and cookies.

2. Check your IE Security settings.

Start Internet Explorer
Click Tools then Internet Options...
Go to the Advanced tab, scroll down to the Security section, and verify that Check for server certificate revocation is unchecked.
Also verify that Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0 is checked.
Click OK when done.

Actually I just discovered what is wrong......that little "watch" battery thingy is obviously needing replacing ... cause the clock timing keeps going out! If I reset the clock then I got no problems with MSN. Its still all under guarantee, I just got to haul the laptop over to the supplier to sort out.

another reason could be that the Clock-Circuit on the Motherboard is on the Fritz.
I think that even with a bad Clock(CMOS) Battery it ought to keep time if connected to the Wall Outlet via the Power Adaptor.

But that's for the Dealer to sort out,since the Machine is still under Warranty.

When dealing with ignoramuses like me ... please do not use any colloquial language....... unless the "Fritz" is computer-speak. But, knowing how you write, Mr Conrad, I am suspicious when you say "on the Fritz" which sounds like "on the blink" or "kaput".....

Was having problems with the pc for a week or so now, the bloody thing was running very slow, took an eternity to get on to this site and when trying to reply to posts agggh I just gave up
Up and running now My sons friend deleted a whole load of stuff which was slowing it down No more downloading for me
