confused Thats weird ... what is the reason for passing a driving test if not to drive? or you talking about a Learners Licence? Most anywhere allows a Learner to drive as long as they got a qualified driver in the passenger seat anyway.

I look forward to reading some educational replies ..... I am dumbfounded!

Car Hire companies often will not hire you a car if you have not held a full licence for two years though, so check with a company before hand

If you hold a full UK licence, you can drive on it anywhere, should you be staying in Spain for any length of time you may need to take a local test, usually just a paper exercise. Other than that you can apply for an International licence, which is valid everywhere

Since you are still in the EU, you can make your UK driving licence a European one. It only took me about 15 minutes to do this and it is valid all over Europe just the same as it is in the UK.

Another lil tip: I live in Romania. Since Romania is NOT the issuing authority of my driving licence, they CANNOT take it away from me, whatever i dodevil This EU thing has still to sort a few things out b4 they can really function properly angel
