not only walking on the beach but for instance spending some time in the countryside or visiting a town, or do you feel more at your ease wearing a comfortable pair of light shoes to protect your feet ?

Barefoot is lovely. But, since living here in CH .... wearing shoes so much has made my feet so tender!....

I never used to have any patience with people walking like spiders when they barefoot .... and I was used to being barefoot all the time, could even walk thru thornpatches without feeling discomfort!... but now is a different story - I also walk like a spider, without shoes!rolling on the floor laughing

BUT - is very good when you feeling stressed - to release the electricity in your body - to "earth" yourself. Most of the time we are insulated by thick rubber soles from the earth.

When I lived on my first Island, about the only time I wore shoes was when I came in for Lunch or Supper.
Was able to walk over Prickly Seed and Coral-Rock barefoot.
Wouldn't even like to dream about that nowadays.grin laugh wave

Here`s some free advice - yes I know no-one wants advice, but I giving it to you anyway, you never know when you may need it.....

When you find you can`t unwind, feel uptight, irritable ..... go sit outdoors with no shoes on and rub your feet on the grass...... makes you feel much better.

My favourite place to walk barefooted is on a trail in the forest.
Its smooth, soft and cool on a hot summerday. Really brings you in contact with the surroundings.

I haven`t heard of heart beat from trees??

But I know that plants can make sounds. Only in a wavelength which human ears cannot reach. Dogs and cats might be able to.

If plants needs water, it should sound horrible...

Might be a good thing we cannot hear itrolling eyes

The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy) Lyrics
Artist: Simon & Garfunkel
Album: Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme

Slow down, you move too fast
You got to make the morning last
Just kicking down the cobblestones
Looking for fun and feeling groovy
Ba da da da da da da, feeling groovy

Hello lamppost, what'cha knowing
I've come to watch your flowers growin'
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
Doo-it in doo doo, feeling groovy
Ba da da da da da da, feeling groovy

I got no deeds to do
No promises to keep
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me
Life I love you, all is groovy

something like that, except in the Woods?

laugh conversing wave

Not so farfetched.Reminds me of the mid and late Sixties.
My Buddy and me Up and Down the Old Town of Zurich, and half around Switzerland.
Him with his Accordeon on his back,me with my Guitar.

My height is about 175 cm,his was 196 cm.rolling on the floor laughing
But we were pretty good in our own way.blushing
No Subway or anything in those days.
sigh Those were the daysblues grin
