Robin Hood (looked great in tights and I still fancy that Maid Marion)..................

and he had a band of 'merry' men, didn't he? Does that mean they drank lots of mead or were they gay theiving bastards lurking in the forest waiting to bugger passers by? conversing confused

I suppose he was............ I have to agree with Earthmoon/CuspofTragic/whatever about Leonardo da Vinci....... I was so proud to be left-handed like him until I discovered he was homosexual then I kinda shut up!

My academic mentor's mentor had Einstein as his mentor - I think that's 'cool' (Robert Court/Stafford Beer/I think a guy called Ashby who became an expert in cybernetics....but then again it may have been another guy - I forget, oh well!dunno )

My son is kinda cool and one day he was going to design a town for me and my friends to live in....... you know, a small town of around 3,000 people with moving pavements and holographic walls etc - look out for his name as he'll probably be famous one day (his name is Douglas, oh but there's another son called Roman Alessandro - kids....so hard to remember the names of the fruit of one's own loins!)

drinking

interesting guy too, and busy.... but look at that twitch...

Tsar Peter was tall and thin, rather than stout. His hair was thick, short, and dark brown; he had large eyes, black with long lashes, a well-shaped mouth, but the lower lip was slightly disfigured...For his great height, his feet seemed very narrow. His head was sometimes tugged to the right by convulsions."

Top Ten Great Men? Well, I reckon all the guys out there in the history books have had their day ... So I would rather mention the ones who are here, now:

First off, I think my award goes to RustyKnight - thru him I got to visit Malta and meet the Maltese Gang!
Second - Our young Manolito - nice, polite, go-getter, level headed young man.
Third - Our own Magic Man - Cuspomagic - with all his poetry, and he never seems to get carried away (well usually anyway).
Fourth - (Despot Don) Conrad - Practical down to earth, sort of a dry sense of humour - and the only surviving member of the last generation!
Fifth - Elley - Our faceless survivor, sense of humour, practical, not afraid to bare his soul.
Sixth - Solitaire - without whom I would be deprived of religious arguments... and he also keeps us informed, sort of, I never know whether to believe him or not......?! But he has good insights.
Seventh - Lionheart from Malta - Whevever he does post, it is always something rather serious, and well written.
Eighth - Gillyloves69 from the Intl Forum - I enjoy his threads - they just so wacky!
Ninth - My Grandson Steve, who is only 11, speaks 4 languages, and enjoys his Grannies company!
Tenth - Well, this spot is reserved for all the other male contributors on the Site - who, when they post, helps to keep the whole show on the road!

cheers teddy bear cheering

Yep!

Rivella=Acquired Tastelaugh
Wonder what the Dairies would do with all their Whey if we Swissies didn't drink it as Rivella.
Doubt if the Cosmetic Industry could use it all.
