True...women notice the charming guys...and say 'how sweet'. But then it is the rough-around-the -edges guys that end up having the cake and eating it too. Never could understand why women say one thing but act in a completely opposite way

Yes… the rough-around-the-edges guys, the “bastards”…. Well… I suppose they’re enticing because they are an official “no go” area but at the end of the day, no girl wants a “bastard” type of guy (well, at least I don’t) so the best thing to do is….

According to doctor dragonfly is to:

1) Put the highest high heel shoes/boots available around your area.
In the event of not finding a suitable pair, just grab a ladder.

2 ) Go to your local supermarket
(where I was told was ideal for finding 2nd halves)

3) Get a nice guy (see top shelves at the supermarkets),
they’re all hiding behind the microwave pop-corn bags

4) Pervert him

As to how to pervert him….

I’m going to have to do a chapter on that …….but I won’t be posting that here…

When it comes to how men should be or act it sounds like a mine field.

LADIES.......

Could we have some clear guidlines as to what is exactly expected of us?

I will only speak for myself, but I think that many ladies will agree with me...
I want to have a strong, reliable and mature man by my side. But he should be a kid at heart, and open to new ideas and challenges.
A soulmate, but not a carbon copy of myself - life would be too dull, like having a boring conversation with myself all the time.
A personality with his own views and ways who would respect mine.
Someone who is more clever and more intelligent than I am, but not necessarily better educated. As life has taught me, education has nothing to do with intelligence or intellect.
A witty guy with good sense of humour, maybe sarcastic, but not evil or bitter. Not the kind who will tell jokes only to laugh at them himself.
Someone who is honest and decent, and who can say both "yes" and "no" when it is necessary without beating around the bush.
Last but not least, someone who is fun to be with, who loves life and all the joys it can give.
Are such men perfect? No, they are not, and do not have to be.
That's what these forums are for - we ladies expect to meet the men of our dreams here... not today, maybe not even tomorrow, but we are not desperate... just let's be patient and take time!

I've read this thread with interest...... and I think it's all very true and very sad.

You see, once upon a time (long ago and far away) I used to be a charming man and a real gentleman; then it all changed........

I noted, with disgust, that the 'bad guys' got all of the lovely women (or at least most of them!), and I decided that I needed to do something about it!

So?

I PRETENDED to be a bad guy - and it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is only one tiny weenie little problem - I've spent so long pretending to be an uncaring, heartless shit that I'm nolonger sure if I've lost what I originally was!

Although women keep insisting that charming is what they want, it doesn't work in real life, as they are the first ones to tell you that reality is different and kind, charming, and debonair men do not exist and if they do they must have a hidden agenda.
