Yes! I have finally learned the art of just listening ... despite all the crap everyone mostly speaks .. without thinking I got to set them straight! Because no one wants to be "set straight" ... they all think they super intelligent, even when they speaking a load of shii-ite!.... and its rather amusing ... as long as I got my cigs and a nice glass of whisky and soda to occupy myself with while listening! .. it sort of helps to numb my brain......cheers

thumbs up
In my work,
I deal with Alzheimers suffers and they sometimes talk nonsense but I listen and nod and smile and answer when appropriate and it makes them happy, so I would gladly listen to anyone who'as you state' talks a load of old B------swave

Not most men. Men usually speak about rather interesting things. Its the women who talk the biggest loads of bollocks, I think ... especially when it comes to food stuff...... or their diets! But amongst men, one does find the odd idiot I must admit ... usually from living an insular lifestyle, so they`ve sort of become a bit feminine in their outlook and subjects....... But generally speaking I find men a bit more open to discussing and enquiry, as opposed to women with their fixed outlook from their corner of habitation.

Nah....have to disagree.....men want to talk about themselves.....how successful they are, what great jobs they have, how much they earn, what fabulous cars they drive, how big their dicks are, what great lovers they are...most male conversations are disguised exercises of one-upmanship.....the underlying theme in most male conversations is self-aggrandizment....women talk about things beyond themselves....you chat to the men Smokey, I'd prefer chatting to the women....

laugh

Okay, so they talk about their dick size, car size, apartment size, salary size .. when they with other men..... When they around women they talk about esoteric subjects and explain things like the Stellar Novas and Navigation by the North Star, and how to slaughter a goat/pig/bull, and their solo expeditions they did thru the rain forests/deserts, and how they survived on seal blubber for a month .... those sorts of things. As opposed to what fancy pudding they gonna make for the next family gathering, or how they burning up their fat.....

I know, I know.....when I first arrived in Switzerland, I found it disturbing how much time people would devote to discussing food and cooking....even the guys!!.....imagine!!....a bunch of guys sitting round a bar table and discussing the best way to make rösti!!!....freaky, I tell ya....

Men...women....men.....it,s all so limiting. Some people, who happen to be men, talk shite, some people, who happen to be women, talk shite.
Here at CS I see both men and women disproving those silly generalised ideas.

Actually sometimes I like to talk shite (what do you mean you,ve noticeddevil ). Well that,s not true, I talk mostly shite. However, when talking shite I do like to try to do it a little eloquently, so at least it,s eloquent shite.

Also, yes I do like listening to people talk a load of old bollocks cause it makes me feel half intelligent.

So, up the old bollocks, up the shite.yay
