I'll go for 60's definitely. i wasn't young...but inexistent laugh

Have listened to it all since though. Whom to name first? applause

Still, I'll grab the chance to protest against "music recycling", that is the tendency to copy tunes or to take full songs into all kinds of re-arrangements/remixes/reeditions and so on...mostly from this era.

We want new (good) stuff...

I agree with that thumbs up

If it weren't for the 20's-50's, I d have nothing to sing to myself to make me feel like I'm in love smitten
"I've Got you under my Skin" and "It had to be You",etc..... the very very long list goes on.....

And if it weren't for the 60's-80's, I'd have nothing to listen to when I wanted to be really profoundly miserable..... blues

Also, most of the 20th century, 30's-90's, has given me different types of music I can dance to, depending on my mood dancing

t has to be the 60s for woodstock iflower power free love and great music[/quote]

Oh, all you Woodstock Flower Power People, with free love, spliffs, Vietnam War protests (was that Then?!).... then the Beach Boys Surfing songs ...... While you were all being irresponsibly young, I was living on a farm, scrubbing floors, chopping fire-wood.....and living in another dimension!

So, now I get to enjoy this vast array of music from the past. All decades rolled into one for me! Could never seperate them into specific decades .. I remember them ... some songs have memories of specific times .. but they were beamed to me over the hills.....Visitors to the farm would arrive in flowered bell-bottoms and head-bands.... then they`d arrive in baggies and slops .... to suit the music of that decade?

Sometimes I do believe that the Mother Ship forgot they`d left me here?wink cheers

most stuff to '75 was good. After that came disco, new wave, and a ton of other crap culminating in hip-hop with their deep lyrics, soothing voices and killer riffs ('sampled' from 70's rock). Long live rock n'roll.
