that's the good sarcasm.....
the bad one is when it's used to insult someone directly, on purpose.
the thing is... one can very easily differenciate between good sarcasm and bad sarcasm in a conversation for example, as the tone of voice, body language and eyes remove all possible offence when it's good sarcasm.
in writing, it's a bit more difficult, but if that is done through one of those silly threads where one posts, another posts, then another one posts, and it's like a fluid conversation but in the virtual world of this message box, then good sarcasm can be seen from a mile off.
The problem is when somebody takes a thread and reads it without having participated in it, they might get the wrong end....
