OOPS my mistake this tima, not Sofia but Sofija, really sorry about that. You see in Malta we write your name as Sufija....another version I suppose...and now you will want to know what it translates to...well you will have to ask another maltese CS contributor for that.!!!!!!!!

I met my first love in Malta - her name was/is 'Vaska' - apparently in Maltese 'Vaska' means either 'fish pond' or 'toilet'

(in actual fact 'Vaska' is derived from the Greek word for 'princess' - she was a Yugoslav from Belgrade.)

And I know what mean name Sofija.That is from Greece.And this is Saint name too.But ofcourse interesting what a meaning it have in Malta.....For sure will ask.Thanks for idea.

Wonderful annoucement!

We shall continue dreaming about that love we know it's there then? i have one too! Shall i wait 20 years or do my stuff ( get married, kids ) and then interrupt it when he recognizes we are meant to be?

I've always heard people saying that you always end up with the non-love of your life. They say that's what balances the relation better, cause love of your life it's a constant headache...

For this announcement I should thank a lot of people that posted threads such as dreams, following one’s dreams, soulmates and other threads related to one’s wishes. They’ve encouraged me to go and chase my dream. The Haka story I wrote which will be published was what triggered the whole thing…

After not seeing an ex of mine for almost 20 years, I went to see him this weekend. The love had never died on either part and it was just like as we’d never parted, just like when you play music on the cd player, press pause, then press play again.

I’ve known I’ve always been his and I’ve always known he’s been mine and up until this weekend, that was just a dream, a comfortable dream as it’s nice to dream.. but I went to check the dream out, ready to hit my head on a brick wall and surprise surprise, I didn’t hit a brick wall…

To tell the truth, I didn’t expect to hit a brick wall but there’s always the doubt, isn’t there?

So…. Hopefully I won’t have broken too many hearts or hopes…. But the truth is… I’m totally, utterly and completely hopelessly in love. I’m his, basically.

I’ll have to do a chapter 2 to the Haka story now.Hugs to all from a happy happy me!

Yes.

May we all have wonderful new 'beginnings' - maybe true love does overcome all the hurt that was once perceived...........

Two people can be brought together and then torn apart by circumstances, but if their love is indeed true there is no reason why they cannot have a new beginning whether they first 'lost' each other many many many many years ago.

There are some wonderful true stories of people who had not seen each other for decades and got married to other people and had children and then became widows/widowers.

Some weird and wonderful force of fate then brought them back together. They have had good lives with good wives and husbands yet when they meet again their love they once knew id rekindled and they make wonderful couples.

To know such love is a gift from God our creator.

May we all find or refind that special person in our lives so that we can know true happiness on earth before we die!

There are very few bad people in this world; most of us are decent people who want the same thing - we want to be joined with the person we were fated to be with and SHARE the good and bad things each day brings us with love and hope and a secure and loving joy in being alive and secure in love.
