Well, if I was the top or second best in my field I'm sure I could pick and choose who to work for - you can't have it both ways now, can you?
Something doesn't quite add up in what the man says about himself, yet he feels happy to put other people down in his delightfully smarmy way.............. he turned a compliment I made of another CS member into something unpleasant - and that is not 'nice'!
Ah now, you are misunderstanding things. Lagoona IS the Top Man of his Profession. He has no need to rate himself as the 2nd top, that is just being humble.... which is what all realy Top people do. I myself have done that, as an artist ..... One does not go around bragging about being too successful. You do that you end up with mailboxes of begging letters!
Here in Zurich, at the moment, seriously, his name is very very popular. Even in our local newspapeer, the Zurich Unterlander I see his name regularly mentioned ..... Of course the man is going to be sounding humble ... he can afford to!
There has only ever been one artist who never was humble - and that was Tretchikoff, who openly used to state that his work was a load of c--p but he laughed all the way to the bank.
Its the creeps down at the bottom of the ladder who are pumping themselves up you got to be wary of!
Anyway, a good attitude to adopt in life is to be always polite to those you believe to be at the bottom, cause one day you may meet them when they at the top.......
