Love and romance

Is there any place for love and romance in a modern relationship ? Or are we now so materialistic and emotionally impoverished that true love is once and for all dead. Do we all too easily spell love with a pound sign ? Do we all have our own liitle built in spread sheet so that we can calculate all possible financial outcomes. What happened to feelings ?

I met a guy here in Poland who had been working in ireland and had saved some money while working there to invest in his future. So i asked him if he had bought an apartment, he said no that he had bought a BMW - he said and was being totally upfront and honest, that the type of wife he was trying to attract was more interested in him having a nice car than an apartment. interesting right!!!

--- it seems true love has been chemicalised from secretions of matter from the brain, which must be controlled so emmotions are kept in check thus allowing positive conscious organic decision processes-

--- yes romance - seems to be mmmmh --- in transition

ps - most are not "Free" to allow it

If Love is so fickle that it flies out the window at the first signs of trouble - then it wasn`t love.

Is Real Love something that just lives in our imaginations? confused

I refuse to believe that true love fades out and gets a secondary issue in our search, when we get older.

Maybe I am naive, but that is what I am searching for...Financial capability is of no interest when/if I enter a relationship.

Today I think couples in my age worries more abou the compability between the kids. Nowadays it is worse to be presented for the kids than for the parents of your spouse :-)
