Dolly was a scientific discovery/invention which even surpassed Einstein and Rutherford. A cloned human would perhaps worry many initially. What wouldnt one be against haveing one's dear wives, daughters, sons, mothers and fathers and friends back. Our sorrow about lost things is an impotence against nature. Once our sorrow was against nature and disease. If we can have our lost folks back we will perhaps have eventually captured and nativated nature.

Of course there are dangers. These dangers do not arise from normal human activity but from State inspired imperriling activities. Do you not think that the CIA or the FSB pr whoever else has not considered these notions. Even today state secret agencies abide and abound - what fucking difference does it it make to society at large?

At the end, cloning has its dangers as long as totalitarian regimes and mentalities exist....but the world is too big to lose out against a few maniacs.

I think that cloning takes the 'breeding' out of breeding; I think with cloning you avoid the actual fun part.
