I once visited a place where a witch is said to have lived, and eventually killed. This case dates to the late 1700's. In the 1860s, British soldiers added their own reports to those of the locals, concerning paranormal disturbances of a rather disturbing nature. Her house was demolished and an exorcism held on the spot.
In 1955, a murder occurred in the area shocking the entire island so much that for the first time in local police history, the aid of officers from Scotland Yard was sought. That was just the first of many more deaths and suicides in the area since, in a country where corpses turn up very rarely.
Many individuals, including police officers on a night exercise have claimed to see a woman with torn clothing and scarred features in the area, but not knowing the case history.
I visited the location about 3 years ago, and spoke words of respect when I got to the ruins of her abode. What seems to be a restless damned entity made my metal detector go crazy upon trespassing the stones, over which I suspect lie her remains. (She was hanged, then burnt).
My words were spoken aloud, and must have induced shock to the said entity who had been cursed ever since, both when alive and even more so afterward.
It appears that she developed a morbid love for me and circumstances determined that since i went there, all I had worth living for is gone, dead or irretrievable.
She wanted my suicide, for that way my soul would not rest and join hers. This is just an extract from some 12 pages of my journal documenting all the details.
If you are sceptic, so am I. I am not delusional. There is no explanation for things that have no explanation. Co-incidences are part of life, but denying too many facts and happenings as co-incidences might make one delusional, or simply lead one to a state of self-denial.
You as a reader may believe my words or might prefer not too. Certain things have to be lived and experienced to be understood fully, and I don't expect anyone to understand what I hardly do myself. I always recommend others to read everything and believe nothing. But truths to exist.
But there are many things around us that we are either aware of or don't understand. Our failure to sense or understand them again does not mean that they do not exist. I know what I am talking about. Do you?
Sincere regards to all
