About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: I would describe myself as a little bit of a smartass, who likes to crack jokes and find the humor in most things in life. I never view my life in a negative way and believe that no matter what happens, I can work my way through it. I am a very self sufficient and confident person who enjoys being with others and having my own time equally. I enjoy the simple things in life. I love going to concerts, museums, sporting events, movies, camping, traveling, and just hanging out around the house or with friends and family.

I am a little bit of a geek. I like watching The Discovery Channel, Science Channel, and shows on physics and the universe. I am highly intelligent, but do not have a college degree. I attended ASU where my major was aerospace engineering, but I changed my mind before obtaining a degree. I entered law enforcement instead and I love my job!!

I can't live without my music. I like just about all kinds of music except hard core rap and bubble gum pop. My Ipod is the most eclectic I have ever seen. It includes Frank Sinatra, Etta James, Johnny Cash, George Strait, Korn, Metallica, Toni Braxton, Eazy-E, Hall & Oates, Prince, Nirvana, and the greatest of all time - Led Zepplin just to name a few.
I'm looking for:: I am looking for someone that I can go out and try new things with. Someone that enjoys a night in cooking dinner with friends as much as going out on the town. Someone that will go to the D-backs or ASU game, cocerts, or camping. Someone that also enjoys traveling would be a positive.

I like to treat a girl like a lady, but can't stand girls that act like a prissy princess. If you are the type of person that believes your life sucks or that everyone you work with sucks, you need not apply. Been there done that, I want to meet happy people with a positive outlook on life. I am trying this online dating because I am not into the bar scene, dating at work is always a bad idea, and while friends think they know you best it just doesn't work.
