About me:

Well, first of all, there is no way that I can describe myself in this space. The best I can do is give you a glimpse of who I am and what I am seeking. I suppose if you want to know more you should write me.

I am a Dad to three great kids. That's number one in my life right now even though they’re off to college so I have a little more time on my hands. BTW, if you have your own children, I would respect that relationship as much as I'd expect you to be considerate of mine. Family is important to me.

I am intelligent and somewhat autonomous. I enjoy being around friends yet I don’t mind spending some time alone either. I enjoy my work, running a small business. I get up “almost” every morning thankful and ready for another day.

(A couple negatives here) I am not always people-smart. Also, I occasionally say things that come out totally the wrong way. If you are thin-skinned it’s probably not going to work. I sometimes forget special occasions like the second monthly anniversary of the first time we kissed. My florist and jeweler are not on speed dial. Ohh and I can't dance, really. I sometimes try but you'll let me sit down after a couple minutes. Yes, the yellow Roadster in the picture indicates my midlife crisis. And yes, I know you hate the color, I'm OK with that.

I have had a couple of setbacks lately, one of them involving a drunk driver and my motorcycle. Not really a fair contest. So the bike is gone, a Z in it’s place, and I can set off metal detectors from a hundred feet.

Seriously, I have little patience with whiners and complainers. Life is unfair. You can stay home and mope or get out there and start enjoying life. It goes by too fast to waste. I think I am half Weeble (they wobble but they don’t fall down).

OK, no offense here, but I make a real effort to stay in shape. If physical condition and appearance aren’t important to you, look for someone who feels the same way.
