About me:

I am smart, independant, and very fun to be with! I am not high maintenance, I do not carry the latest high fashion handbag, and I do not have my nails done every other week. I work hard for what I have and I am proud of my achievements. I am usually very happy and upbeat, and try to keep a positive attitude about everything. I have been on my own for a very long time, and am used to fending for myself. I have a non-profit business that is in it's 13th year that I started myself and it takes up a lot of my time. I also have a 1995 Honda Civic EX that is my love and my life and I am fixing it up to be a show car. Although I love the car very much it is not the center of my universe (you may think so if you met me!) It is my hobby and I would be happy to tell you the story of this beautiful and special car. I have a 9 year old son that shares everything I do and we have a lot of fun together. He is my best friend and I am very lucky to have him in my life. I don't like people who don't want "drama" in their lives. Everyone has drama, it is how you define it and how you handle it.

I'm looking for:

I would like to be with someone who has similar interests, but who would add something different to the mix. I am a strong believer in communication whether it be positive or negative. Never keep anything in or to yourself. Be open and honest. You don't have to call everyday, but keep in touch and let each other know what is going on. Doing things together, getting to know each other and letting each other know how your life works is a great way to become close and become one. I like to be romantic, do little things to show the other person how I feel. I will be accused of being "smothering" but I like to do little things and try to show how I feel. When I become "attached" to someone I don't ask for much, but I do like to be kept in the loop and like to be kept informed about what is going on. If you can't keep in touch, keep your promises, and keep me in your heart then don't keep me!
