About me: I found myself unexpectedly divorced about a year ago; it was a long marriage and I have only recently accepted the fact that I am single again. I don't like it much. For the last 28 years, I have been an employee of the State of Maine. I'm in good health despite my nicotine habit; I hope to have quit by the time I actually meet someone. Those are the dry facts. I do not look, feel, or act my age.
I own a mountain bike and actually ride it.
I have not lost my taste for Rock and Roll.
I have all my teeth and most of my hair.
I am more sensitive than most guys.
I love football and hate baseball.
I totally commit to a relationship.
I have never cheated on spouse or girlfriend.
I can talk intelligently on many subjects.
I enjoy camping and the outdoors in general.
I prefer cats over dogs.
I do not mind weeding a garden.
I'm looking for: I'm looking for a girl who wears glasses and rides a mountain bike. These fall more in the wishful thinking area than actual requirements. I do, however, find the following traits a necessity. (1) loyalty to friends and family (2) fidelity (3) a sense of humor (4) love of the outdoors (5) an artistic or creative nature (7) intelligence (8) strong opinions and the courage to voice them.
