About me:

Recently moved home after living out-of-state for a year-I will tell you it was NOT on either coast, and "winter" compares to our mid-to-late-October. Looking to meet people...if romance follows, even better. I love to cook, almost everything that goes on my dinner table or into a lunch box is made from scratch for a lot of reasons, but mostly because I simply love the process. I am pretty flexible in terms of trying new things, in food and in life. I'll try almost anything at least once. I'm not the sort of person to spend time in a gym, but simply living my life (an 8 year old and a dog) keeps me in pretty good shape. What that doesn't fix, I compensate for with whatever strikes me (a bike ride, yoga, a challenging walk...) in terms of exercise, and being careful with my diet (not rabbit food, just well-balanced with a little splurging now and then). Always up for a good live sporting event. Hanging out at home, pizza and a movie, a little live theatre...it's all good.

I'm looking for:

I'm looking for someone who is genuinely open to the idea of welcoming me, and eventually my little one, into their lives, who knows that there is no need to replace the father already on the job, and patient enough to wait until I decide the time is right to introduce you (10 is old enough to know if someone disappears from her life).

Interests similar to mine are fine, interests other than mine simply mean more things to talk about and learn from eachother.

If you have an open mind, a sense of adventure ("just driving" with a picnic on-board), and a sense of humor (sometimes the sitter cancels, but pizza and a movie in still works)...non-smokers preferred.
