About me: I would describe myself as very intelligent, creative, humorous, and inconsiderate, though in a relatively sane and down-to-earth way (at least the tiny voices in my head keep telling me this :). I enjoy physical and intellectual activities: hiking, writing, reading, bicycling, sweaty spooning, basketball, philosophy, science, drunken revelry, weight-lifting, peyote ceremonies, etc. I think I'm a rather unusual combination of jock, nerd, and jerk -- difficult to pigeonhole, but once you've accomplished that I will stay confined like a good boy (especially if generous amounts of leather bondage are involved). Generally fun to be around, especially if you like a certain level of intellectual chaos. I'm a libertarian politically, though I believe the government should outlaw things I don't personally like. I am not religious, but have been known to ritually sacrifice wine to Dionysus and cheap beer to lesser erotic deities.
I'm looking for: I'm not looking for anyone in particular at the present time, but I prefer people who are intelligent, funny, educated, non-spontaneous, physically and emotionally active, and "laid-forward" (instead of -"back"). :))
