Hello, I'm what you'd call a newb as far as New York/Jersey goes. I just moved here a couple of weeks ago but I love it here!
I'll be upfront, I am a huge gamer/geek like person who needs a woman that can understand that. I know it's getting more and more rare to find a woman like this but I'd rather wait for her than "settle" for someone who isn't like her and breakups imminent.
I'm into video gaming, comic books, anime, J-pop, comupters and I am huge gadget and techphile.

Now, I'm not a complete homebody! I love going out to comedy clubs! I enjoy going to movies and dinners. I love broadway and plays. Walking for miles and I have a deep appreciation for zoos and museums.
And since moving to New York/Jersey, I possibly want to take advantage of everything she has to offer! My biggest current past-time is to wander the city on foot. I love exploring and seeing everything.
I am a shy person unfortunately and the act of approaching a woman I'm attracted to would yield disastrous results. So online dating may be my only option. Yes, I have recently tried to open up and speak to attractive woman after my breakup but ...it didn't go as well as I would have liked. I just think people need to know who I am and what I'm all about before I actually speak cause I can't get the words out when I need them.

Working in retail, I do work with a lot of girls and a lot over the years have developed crushes with me. I've been told that one you know me and I've dropped my guard. I am....what is it they say...."charming" =)
So to quote an old saying "To know me is to love me."
Unfortunately, I can't date anyone I work with. I've done so twice and they have both ended badly.

Overall I just want a woman that I can not only love and honor, but I can call a companion as well.
I am a very laid back kind of guy and I love cracking jokes. I have a great sense of humor and a VERY thick skin. I believe in a stress free life. And it's too short to waste it dwelling on stressful drama. I have almost infinite patience for everything and am pretty easy to please. I'm compassionate and loyal. I will literally SNATCH this shirt off if it will help a friend in need. I also give a SERIOUSLY mean back rub! =)

I am also very affectionate, so if you don't like to be hugged or being the center of my attention, then I'm sorry. I'm sure one of those hot "Douche-bags with Hot chicks" models with treat you well as their arm candy. =)

I am NOT shallow, you do not need to be a model to get my attention. I love women of all shapes and sizes. It's cliche but it truly is what's inside that matters most to me. And unfortunately, very few of us will avoid hitting that wall at age 90-100 so a beautiful inside counts for a lot when the looks are gone! Race isn't an issue to me either. All women are beautiful to me.
