About me:

I am a young 55, an internationally exhibited and published artist and writer, a new fine arts professor at a university in Fredericton, NB. I don't really know anyone in the city, except for my colleagues at the university. I have lived across Canada, 10 years in Halifax, 10 years in Vancouver, and several years in Toronto and Calgary areas, as well as in New York City. I like to make my art, write (for art magazines, etc.) and read, watch all sorts of movies, ride my motorcycle, go fishing, cook (particularly wild game), travel (Toronto, New York, Italy, Iceland..my next confirmed exhibition is in Vancouver in 2007)). I am seeking a relationship with a special person, beginning with dates, dinners, movies, long conversations. I'm in no rush for intimacy but do wish to meet a person with a healthy libido. I am generally a happy positive person who enjoys getting up in the morning. I have a great sense of humor. I have two grown sons who live in Western Canada (divorced for ten years). I own a beautiful place in rural Alberta where I spend some portion of the summer. I have also never before tried to meet someone this way, so go easy on me.

To me a sense of humor is the most important trait in a woman. I have really no preference in terms of appearance...blonde, brunette, red hair, green, blue, brown eys, thin, tall, short, petite, curly hair, straight hair, ...its all fine with me...it depends on the individual...though I suppose it would be lying to say that tall and slim is not more attractive to me than short and fat...I also like women who are not afraid of earrings, lipstick and make-up...I'm not really that interested in the obese ...but...I like easy going people...and though I prefer the company of relatively open-minded and sophisticated people who won't feel out of place an an art exhibition opening, they must not forget to laugh at their own pretensions.
