About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: I am a happy, adventurous and loving woman with a dry sense of humor and MANY artistic skills/interests. I work hard, play hard, and love to travel. I am adventurous in ALL areas of life.

I tend to intimidate men because I am smart, funny, pretty, and I know who I am and what I want in this life. Which begs the question, can I meet my match? I catch people off guard because I am willing to say what everyone else is thinking but won't say it. I became an art therapist when I couldn't decide if I wanted to be and artist or a psychologist, when someone suggested I marry the two and become an art therapist. This has been my path ever since.

I am also very passionate about life - many things are important to me, and I am not affraid to stand up for my beliefs or voice my opinion when it really matters.

I have a little one, and I made the choice to be a single mom when the situation was too unhealthy to stay. With that in mind I only want a relationship which is healthy and includes spiritual growth.

I also love the great outdoors, so much so I got my daughter up to the Sequoias for her first camping trip at just 13 months old :P and like her mother, she seems happiest out in nature.

My ideal match is someone who is smart and funny with a similar education level (bachelors/masters) and financially secure. He should be tall (as I am 5'9") and active, with an interest in outdoor activities. A morning person who likes to get up and go out for a hike or play on the beach. Intellectually, I need someone who can have great debates without having to be "right" explore social norms and philosophies with me. Someone who is content to sit quietly and can honestly say they love themself. . . finally, someone who is open to personal growth and self-efficacy.
