About me:: I am an honest, compassionate and caring person. I like to laugh and have a good time with my friends, to whom I am very loyal. I consider myself to be intelligent and can quite enjoy the occasional evening spent in serious discussion. I am passionate about my animals, and I can't stand to see them cruelly treated. My hobbies include dog walking, gardening, horse riding, fibre crafts. I very much enjoy the country life, surrounded by my animals and the wild beauty of the Brittany countryside. I also enjoy eating out and visiting places and attractions I have not seen before, but I am equally happy and content to be at home in the stables or the garden, and doing the odd DIY job around the house.
At the age of 50+ I have not yet met anyone that I would want to spend the rest of my life with. I have been on my own for a long time and greatly value my freedom and independence, and I am wary of giving that up. I am hoping to develop strong friendships(s). However, should this friendship with the right person develop into something deeper, who knows....?
I'm looking for:: I would like to meet a soul mate. A kind, gentle and honest man who can share my love for animals and nature. A jolly and intelligent man to talk and laugh with. Someone who is cheerful and fun loving in happy times, but who can be strong and supportive during adversity.
