About me:

I am an easy going artistic person who is a great dad to my eleven year old daughter. I am a skier, golfer and I played tennis in college but haven't found a worthy opponent since. I lived in Southern California and I really love the ocean but I have grown accustomed to doing things in the mountains. I am into more of the healthy things in life, health foods, mountain biking, running, hiking, camping stuff like that; although, I do enjoy a nice burger on occasion. I like to write, paint and I make my living as an art appraiser, yes I am one of those Antique Roadshow guys. History fascinates me, I like learning about past generations and how they lead us to where we are today. I do believe certain things throughout history repeat. I wish we could evolve into a more original society but some old things are just too good to let go. I read mostly literature, Bukowski, Miller, Camu and I like old movies. I think the 50's were cool and men and woman knew who they were. If we could be like that now and still keep the advancements of equality life would be perfect. I am not living in the past I just enjoy the 50's design, music and fashion. I don't think I am unique because I see a lot of it coming back into style. I want to travel more and explore other cultures. I have this romantic idea that life in Europe is more about the experience of life than working to live. I try to adapt that concept into my everyday living, but find it challenging in our "competitive hurry up and make money society".
