About me:

A little complex yet simple, enjoy laughing but serious minded, independent but need strong shoulders to lean on, jeans or business suit-I am comfortable either way.
That is an insight to some of the things about me that I think you should know. Of course there is a lot more and most are more important than the ones I listed. I am a Mother to three beautiful children and one gorgeous grandson. My children are 29, 24, and 11. Of course my 11 year old is still with me, he is my anchor. I have been divorced for six years, I have adapted and I am pretty comfortable with my life. Yet there is something missing and I feel I have given myself enough time to heal and to close that chapter of my life and start a new one. It's not that I haven't dated in the last six years, I just haven't been in a serious relationship. I am old fashioned in a sense and having that trait makes this process a little more difficult for me. I am a small town girl, I have lived in a big city but found that the pace was too fast and the people didn't seem very happy so I moved back to my roots and can't see myself ever leaving again. I would like to find the man that can bring back the passion, the dreams, and the desires that have been dormant for too long. I want to feel the butterflys again, the anticipation of the next phone call, just to hear his voice. I can be very spontaneous, you might find a small note (scented with your favorite perfume that I wear) tucked in your briefcase or pocket, just a little reminder that you have someone that loves you. I believe that communication is the key to any long lasting relationship and I think that is the key to handling lifes little problems. I am devoted, loyal, committed, and honest and hope to find the same traits in another.

I'm looking for:

I would like to meet someone that is understanding, someone that is honest, trustworthy and knows the value of morals. Someone that realizes that somethng worth having is sometihing worth putting effort and time into. Ideally they would have some of the same interests as I do. I don't want someone that is a shadow to me or expects me to be their shadow. Also, trust and communication are two keys to a successful relationship and without them it is, I believe, a waste of valuable time and energy. I am attracted to people that are happy and content with life, people that enjoy the simple things in life and realize that the majority of them are free. You can't buy love and happiness, they are not commodities that you find sitting on a shelf with a price tag attached. I would never be rated a "10" in the looks department and I am not looking for a man that has a "10" rating but I have to admit that physical attraction is important to me and I doubt people when they say "looks are not important, it is what is on the inside that counts". But then I can't speak for everyone but I can speak for myself and I am attracted to men that take care of themselves and take pride in their appearance and the way they appear to others.
