About me:: I am single, professional, and a homeowner. I have been divorced for over 20 years and since have had only one long term relationship that lasted for over 10 years; however, we did not marry. It never felt right and I kept hoping it would. I have a fairly minimalistic lifestyle, but do live in a very comfortable home. This is the second home I have purchased and had built, on my own, and am very proud of that independence. I have a great support system in friends and family and want a 'partner' in my life not because I 'need' one, but rather because I 'want' one.
I'm looking for:: I am searching for a man who is looking for a partner and not a mother - been there, had that! My ideal match would smile when I enter a room, make me feel like I am the most important person to him and treat me with the respect and warmth I deserve. I don't need a man who is a model look-alike, but would like someone who is physically fit - although; I have some work to do in that area myself! Hair - to have or not to have - color, length, etc. is really not important - I have 4 bald brothers and they look just fine! I have financially supported boyfriends in the past and am not looking for that to happen again. Having a partner who treats me well and springs for dinner and a movie is great. I like to camp, antique, garden, and the water. I grew up on a farm in NW Wisconsin, so I can back a trailer like the best of them, but prefer to be a passenger!
