About me: Hello...I'm very easygoing yet independent by nature, softspoken but can be very expressive, quiet yet adventurous, utterly unpretentious, and I live by the Golden Rule. I'm there when my friends need me, and I can laugh when things get tough. I have a good sense of humor, sometimes dry, sometimes subtle, and occasionally, well.... I prefer irony to sarcasm, and don't mind being teased (or teasing back). I'm not too stubborn to admit when I'm wrong, and I don't crow when I'm right. (Oh right, did I mention teasing?)
I enjoy my job, but it's not my life. I take care of business and the day-to-day details, but I'm not blindered to enjoying living. I'm not a sports- or TV-holic, and not a couch potato. I'm not heavily into fitness but I keep myself in relatively good shape. I like being active and trying the different or off-the-beaten-path. I also like reading, the occasional movie in or out (pizza!), bicycling or walking, going dancing or to an event, etc., and I'm always open to suggestions. I've never been married, and I don't have any children. I've been in love, and not, and 'in' beats 'not' all day and a lifetime. I want someone with whom to enjoy life, but I'm not the desperate or needy type. I can be quite romantic and passionate if that spark is there, and I love having fun and laughing. I've always been a one-woman man, and while I've been known to chase a skirt, that's 'a', as in 'one'. That skirt might be yours...
I'm looking for: I am drawn to a woman who is attractive both outside and inside. She's slim and shapely and good-looking (OK, so maybe you're laughing and thinking, "with this guy's looks he couldn't sneak up on milk, and he's looking for ME?"). She's intelligent and creative, with an adventurous personality and fine sense of humor. She's successful and happy with herself. She's youthful and active in mind, heart and body, sensual, loving and lovable, and a one-man woman. She takes my breath away whenever, wherever, and however I see her... And...

Sheesh, the above reads back as if I'm all about me; but I'm truly not, and if you knew me you'd know that. You could know me; if you found me humorous and attractive, if I brought a smile to your lips, if I made you laugh, perhaps we have something in common. Perhaps we'll find other things in common. Perhaps, even, each other...
Is online dating the blindest of dates, or what? I'll admit being somewhat skeptical, yet I'm still intrigued - "what if?" How about just meeting over coffee or a drink? No pressure, we can chat, see if we have things in common and chemistry, all that stuff we would've started with in the real world...
