A Realist, truly an eclectic intellectual and ostensibly an enigma, I'm "INTJ" different and prefer less socializing than most. 167 lbs. As it exists within the temporal realm, my place of dwelling is a serene existence; I enjoy my time there more than elsewhere. I'm not an animal lover but do appreciate the Wild Kingdom. My political attitude is that of Independent, for I vote to maintain harmony & freedom. Both an Aikido and Aikijujutsu master - really. Play wooden flutes for meditative benefits. Enjoy hiking, rock geology, the sciences, vegetable and fruit gardening, home improvement, oar and wind powered boats, reading, relations with the family, and a bit more. Seven years divorced. My ethnicity is Norwegian, Scottish and French. My eleven year old daughter lives with me.
Now, for those of you who read further, there is both obvious as well as "hidden amongst the leaves" statement to be found herein - that which is obvious to one is not so for another.
You'll find me receptive to conversation that is kindly, respectfully, or sincerely presented. A so-called "open mind" where there exists culturally imbued bias will not be helpful in understanding my personality.
Conversational vagueness will not move you and I toward understanding each other - ask questions.

I'm looking for: The woman who has used something other than popular culture constructs to shape her "raison d'etre", some other basis that has guided the direction of her spirit toward a unique presentation of her being to express a quiet, wordless, self-contained joy, desiring nothing from without and resting content with everything, remaining free of egoistic likes and dislikes?
Seeking:
Life long relationship. Friendship and loyalty. You understand the important connection between an enduring relationship and the ability of the husband and wife to create socially pleasant traditions that develop strong family heritage. You're somewhat athletic with an in-place exercise program. Non-smoker. Your vitality comes from you, not your social circle. An existentialist rather than a hedonist, having a strong spirituality that is substantiated with a functional (understood and reasonable) philosophy that is not faith based.
I'd like to relate to one who is interested in an expenditure of their effort toward the creation of a family as well as useful accomplishment that imparts something of value to humankind. You'd prefer the discussion of philosophy to dancing, paranormal research to partying, learning expeditions to travel, reading to gossip. Here, a clear archetypal image - You understand the meaning of the character attributes portrayed by Drew Barrymore in Ever After, or Michele Yeoh in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. In part, what I seek in you is character and strength not associated with a misconstrued feminist dictate nor with an attitude that has been foisted upon one's being as "seeded" by the force of popular culture. If you're a "princess", be Comptesse Nicole de Lancret, or Fiona; otherwise, be (in attitude as least) Yu Shu-lien.
