Shoot, even my ex-wife (and very close friend) has volunteered to endorse me to a potential mate! Uh...thanks anyway Susan...I've got it form here babe.

I'm so domesticated at this point, that I even put the toilet seat down.

And just so you'll know, I'm not out chasing every skirt I encounter. I can wait. I can wait because I'm smarter that the average guy. I'm just sayin'.

My secret? I possess that rare and uncanny ability ability to keep my pantaloons on.

I spend way too much time and effort maintaining my health to have it ruined by some freakin' penicillin resistant disease! I take NO meds and wish to continue that.

I said all that to say this: If you even suspect that you aren't healthy, don't stop here please.

My music preferences? All over the board. Everything from Travis Tritt, to Fifty Cent, to Salsa, to Classic Rock to Sunday Morning Jazz....throw in some Contemporary Christian as well...and I dance to all of it! My current vices include (but not restricted to) Hot Rod Chevrolet's, Martial Arts, travelling, and of course....a properly constructed Mojito.

I am a Captain by trade moving Oil Field Vessels around the Gulf (and beyond). Make no mistake, this is my "year of change" and I can't help but feel as Whale-man Herman Melville must have felt when he had penned in one of his timeless novels: "Forever advancing, we seemed forever in the same place".

I want you to know that I'm tired of that "place". But If I'm destined to be "in that same place" for a time...I wish to do it with someone mucho especial!

But I repeat myself (Mark Twain) My philosophy on relationships goes something like this: A good relationship is not unlike a good business partnership in that each partner is expected (read: demanded) to bring something of equal value to the the negotiation table. In this way the two separate entities may benefit real substance that otherwise may not have been possible singularly. As a side note, here's an opinion for you gals in a "less than stellar" relationship with a guy your own age. Your guy is still searching (surprise!) For what? He's unsure at this juncture. To be fair, It's not his fault, rather blame it on genetic loading. But don't panic, in about a decade (or two) he'll emerge from multiple women 101 with his diploma proudly in hand. So the query I'll put to you is this. What is your time and youth worth, and will you be content to await this "emergence" or unilaterally seek out the graduate instead?
