About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: I know it's cliché, but I'm a laid back kind of guy, I do my best to be honest and become more like my last name as the years pass. I'm 30 years old and will be turning 31 in a few months, I've lived out my youthful years and am looking for someone/something more meaningful and stable when looking for a relationship. I have a 4 year old son, that I do my best to keep in contact with, he lives in Japan w/ his mother(who is a really good person, we just lacked the passion to maintain a healthy relationship). I have a dog named Homer, so I hope you like animals cause he loves people. I moved here to Webster last November, but when I want to go out with friends I typically have to go back to my old side of town (West Houston/Memorial area), that being said the only friends I have in the area are from work which makes it harder to meet people since I'm not a club person.
I'm looking for:: Honest, faithful, strong, good-hearted, not necessarily an angel but not a wild-woman either. Goal motivated, driven to succeed but hopefully not a workaholic; I could care less about your race as long as you are true to yourself and not pretending to be someone else to make others happy.
