About me:

I realize I'm not 26 anymore, but all in all I'm holding up pretty well. There is gray in my hair, but that's okay, it looks kind of nice, and whatever the color, I'm just glad that it's still all there, so I don't have to wear something that might come loose and go into free flight on a windy day. I still put in gym time, my jeans size is the same as when I was in my thirties, nothing goes into a little bedside dish at night, and I never find myself driving down the street, having forgotten just exactly where I'm going. I know, all of that may lie ahead, but for now and the foreseeable future, I'm fun to be with, and I think your friends would tell you we make a nice looking couple.

I'm very affectionate, but not cloying. Just a quick, gentle touch when I pass you in the room, will remind you that I'm pleased that you're there, and hopefully it will make you smile. Like 99% of the other people here, I like candlelit dinners but I like them at home. Actually, I'm a pretty good cook, albeit with a limited repertoire. I'm honest. I know, that's an awful cliche, but I really am. The fewer lies you tell, the fewer you have to remember. I enjoy everything that most people enjoy, including the proverbial moonlit walks on the beach, although I don't particularly care for the 600 mile trip to get there. You like home, except for things that can't be done at home, like an occasional play, concert, or a rare sports event, or outdoorsy stuff like biking or hiking. I like movies at home (big system), and I like to cuddle while watching them. Walks at night, just in the neighborhood, holding hands, and talking or not talking, can be so nice. I hope you have wit, enjoy conversation, and are just generally good-natured, have a tenderness about you, so you can make me feel good when I feel bad. Finally, but very important, you have to be emotionally stable. No weird causes, no loony politics, no picketing of people's houses, you don't think that little dust mop dogs with ribbons on their heads are your children, you're just normal.
