About me:

I'm a young 63 year old. I Have been a widow since Sept. 2003, after a 25 year marriage. Good sense of humor, relatively attractive, retired August 2005 after 12 years as a bookkeeper/office manager, have 6 yr old German Shepherd, 45 year old daughter, am easy going, patient, a very caring individual, love people and animals, camping (especially by a creek or river around greenery), the woods, the country, beaches, campfires or by a fireplace, listening to the rain (especially on a tin roof or while dozing off to sleep), dancing (country western, rock & roll), rollercoasters, shooting pool, mooching around thrift stores, street fairs, and live music. Favorite music is Rock & roll, country western, rhythem & blues, Doo Wop, Soft rock, just about everything except jazz. Enjoy traveling, gardening, dining out, drawing (I specialize in black & white old victorian homes), crafts, writing poetry (haven't done any writing or drawing in some time but hope to get back to it now that I'm retired), good (two way) conversation, renting videos (especially a good comedy), and horse back riding. I'm more comfortable in jeans but also like to dress up.

I'm looking for:

Must like dogs. Someone caring, honest, kind, and sensitive who has some of the same interests as my own. Down to earth with a good sense of humor and one that likes animals. I like beards and mustache's, clean shaven, short hair, long hair, or bald.
I really don't care for egotistical people, boasting, and one sided conversations. For me this is a real turn off.
