Hope everyone is doing well. I thought I would try this site and see what kind of luck I would have meeting someone. I think I'm looking for a friend on here, but would not mind if it became more as I got to know the person. I'd like to say up front that I'm a traditional kind of girl, so if you're looking for something casual, like a one-night stand, you'll need to look elsewhere.

I think I am a pretty easy to be around. I have a serious nature, but can be easy-going, too. At first I am a little shy when getting to know someone, but can be pretty talkative once I get comfortable with them.

I just put another picture of myself up here tonight (and it wasn't that hard to do.. I was stunned! lol) The new picture (dated 2/08) is more recent. The other picture is about 15 years old, but believe it or not, I haven't changed that much physically, since then. My hair has grown out some, so I probably l ook more like the old picture (the one with me in white) than my new one, but I figured some here might want a more recent one of me, so there it is.) I like to watch movies, read and paint in my spare time. I've also been taking some side trips to a place called Swan Lake in Sumter, SC. If you haven't been there and like nature, I highly recommend it. It's very relaxing and is a really neat way to see some forms of 'lake wildlife'

I'm not sure what my 'ideal' match would be.. but I know that I'm more drawn to men who are anywhere from lean to a bit thick, with brown or dark hair. I also tend to prefer men who do not drink or smoke (often) and like to take relationships fairly slowly.
