chambernautilus Looking for a friend and companion

That's me!

About me:: I just got a new left knee, and I feel great. My legs are fine now, just not supposed to run anymore. I'm retired, but I do some business online and am taking an extensive course online involving creative real estate investing. I have a small collection of meteorite samples, two of which are from known asteroids. I have a chambered nautilus shell, cone snail shells, and an ammonite fossil that is approximately 240 million years old. It is an ancient relative of the chambered nautilus. I like the aroma of incense sticks or cones, particularly pachouli.
I also have a handmade Chinese abacus made in tibet. I can use it, but I'm not as fast as Chinese shopkeepers. I enjoy music. I don't watch much TV. DVD movies I own are: Lost Horizon, Casablanca, The Emerald Forest, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Forbidden Planet, The Pink Panther (original) and others. I have the DVD "Power of Myth" series with Joseph Campbell and Bill Moyers. I enjoy doing some traveling, particularly to Kauai, Hawaii. I have friends who have lived there for 35 years. I was in the Navy submarine service some time ago. My son is an Air Force pilot. My daughter is a stage actress.
I'm looking for:: I am looking for a friend and, at least, an occassional companion who is interested in the things I mentioned in describing myself and is interested in wondering and learning more about humanity and the universe.
